General, Storage & iCloud
I see
I have used 14.5 GB and have 13.02 GB left
It is already saying my iCloud storage is almost full.Total storage available: 5 GB and 3817MB remaining.
(Please don't laugh. I don't have a child around here to teach me how to do this stuff.)
Now some questions.
How do things get put into iCloud?

Anything put on your iPhone takes up space.I have never sent anything there. I don't even know what is in the iCloud!
Is there anything on my iPhone that does not take up storage space?
Yes. They can take up quite a bit of space depending on how many photos you're storing and at what resolution.Do messages & pictures use up storage space?
Yes. Quoted a number of people don't know about "Other" file. Are there things I can't see or might not be aware of taking up storage space?
What are my options... Is there a quick, easy and painless (no expense) way to take care of this?
I can't say for sure... but I think some updates added some stuff (apps) to my phone. Do they do that? I see a little TV app I don't recall adding.
I need step-by-step answers, pretty please?
Thank-you for any help you can provide.
Peggy
