On the device you want to use, tap Settings>Bluetooth and then tap on the name of the headset that you have paired and wait until you see "Connected" next to that device. If the headset name is not displayed, you will have to pair it. For what it's worth, the Apple AirPods are the easiest to pair that I've used and I really enjoy them.
