Hi, I've posted this before with no replies. I listen to a lot of books on my iPad. Quite often when I re-activate my BackBeat SENSE bluetooth headset I get music from my phone rather than the book on the iPad. Then I must go to the iPad and press the play button to get back to the book. I NEVER listen to music on my phone and have tried to remove all tunes from it. I cannot shut off bluetooth on the iPhone as it's part on home phone system. Any ideas? > On Jan 12, 2017, at 3:06:PM, David Morganstein drm0223@mac.com [apple-iphone] <apple-iphone@yahoogroups.com> wrote: > > > From your idevice, you select the BT headset as an output. > > Some BT devices seem to be smarter & respond correctly. For some you have to delete the BT device from your iPad or iPhone and re-pair it if you switch from phone to pad, etc. > > David > > On Jan 12, 2017, at 2:39 PM, tkloth@wans.net [apple-iphone] <apple-iphone@yahoogroups.com> wrote: > >> >> I'm thinking of getting a cordless, Bluetooth, headset to use with my iPad. But I also have an iPhone. Both devices have Bluetooth. When I'm using the Bluetooth headset, How does it know that I want to listen to the iPad and not the iPhone? >> >> TIA, >> Tim K Robert Poland iMac, Late 2013, 14,2 3.2 GHz Intel Core I5, 27" 16 GB Ram, 1TB Fusion HD OS X 10.12.2 (Sierra) iPad Pro, WiFi, 32 GB, iOS 10.2 iPhone 5s, 16GB iOS 10.2
