[apple-iphone] Re: Need App Suggestions for Document Synch

Can anyone recommend a good app that synchs documents with the phone via lightning cable (Not with WiFi)?

I used to use Documents to Go but now have moved to an office that has wifi wired into the walls. My Windows computer can access it via USB cable and my phone can access it without a cable but there is something about the signal that can't synch documents from my desktop unless connected.

Thank you!

Bonnie

Try Good Reader, It offers wifi sync.

I use an application on my Mac and PC called GoodSync to sync documents to 3 computers and 3 IOS devices.  On the IOS devices I use GoodReader.

You could try DropBox or Google Docs

Re: [apple-iphone] iPhone loses connection with provider network

If it is just one phone, maybe the antenna is bad. But again does it only do it in one location.

Sent from my iPhone, please excuse any brevity.

Thanks. I had done that to my phone too, but had forgotten how. Therefore, I gave my instructions in bars or dots. I didn't know that the numbers were dB. Actually, I disagree with what they say about the numbers. I very often, at home, get a rather stinky number (now -114 or two dots on VZ) but never lose service.
I now have saved the webloc so I can find it again.

Rather than the phone, it might be with the network. Contact your mobile provider and talk to them. The rebooting fix might just be coincidental, as the network might come back while it is rebooting. Doe he notice a weak signal in the upper left of the screen? Five bars (actually dots on an iPhone) is great, but two is probably okay. Big difference between 2 and 0 though.

Re: [apple-iphone] iPhone loses connection with provider network

Definitely call the provider. I just went through hours and hours of wasting time with Apple, they replaced my 6S and the problem persisted. It turned out Verizon has an auto update that updated my phone to HD voice and it nearly made the voice part of my phone useless. I finally got a Verizon tech who knew his stuff and quickly recognized my problem with my description of dropped calls, words cutting in and out, people could not hear me. (I guess that HD voice needs to be better tweaked!) When my son called me tonight he was so excited to be able to actually hear me and I didn't sound like I was underwater. The setting changes were in the roaming settings. I strongly suggest calling your provider. Wouldn't it be nice if Apple and Verizon (and other providers) actually communicated this info with each other.

My brother in law has an iPhone 6 that has started acting up. Every couple of days it seems to lose the connection with his telephone network. He's in a 4G area and the 4G goes away. When he reboots the phone, it reconnects and works for a couple days…then it goes out again.

I had him Reset Network Settings, then Reset All Settings. Neither step worked.

Apple authorized dealer replaced his SIM card. They say if he leaves it with them for a few days, they might be able to fix it or they'll replace it.

I was hoping to find some solution that didn't require that.

His phone has the latest system.

Any thoughts?

David
