Yes, the video said that. My primary concern was making sure that my husband's contacts were saved and I'm short of time, and since my original post didn't generate any help, I took the quickest,easiest route I could find to get his phone synced.
But I'd still appreciate help on how to sync his phone and share my iTunes account!
