The reminder app lets you create a reminder to pop up when you arrive at a
specific location. Geofencing is the GPS technology that creates a "fence"
around an address/location so when your cross over the "fence" it will give you
a reminder. Best example is, your out of stamps so you set a reminder to stop
at the post office and get stamps. Three days later your driving past the post
office, as you go past the reminder pops up to get stamps. You don't need to be
stopping at the post office only close enough to cross the geofence. When I set
a reminder for when I get home, the reminder will pop up about 200 feet from my
drive way. Hope this helps.
