I lost that string and its connected tin cans a long time ago, but I think I may have figured out the problem anyway. It seems the setting for call screening must be on. At least that's what I finally found in a help on the GV help site. But I haven't gotten a call today to see if that is it. I do remember unchecking that in my settings a few months ago so the correlation may be correct.
But for a company that was built on search, searching for solutions to problems with its own products sure does take awhile.
