> I recently retired from work, and want to start syncing my iPhone 4s to my home computer. The home computer already has iTunes, Outlook etc. I don't care so much about the music, since I had more music on iTunes on my home computer than my work, but I do want to keep the contacts, calendar etc. on the iPhone.
I am going to extrapolate from your message and guess (since you didn't state) that:
1. you are using a Windows machine, and
2. you have previously been syncing the iPhone with a computer at work.
Is this correct?
If so, then the specific problem to resolve is how to change the computer a device is sync'd with without losing the pre-existing contents of the device.
I know others here have done exactly that, but I haven't -- I only relate to the one computer. I hope those others chime in here.
