That's odd Frank. I have been having the exact opposite problem. After I will delete a message it will come back four or five times as new when I open my mail app. And sometimes the mail won't delete when I ask it to so I have to open a specific mail provider (like Cox or Gmail instead of all mail) than go back to all mail and it will be gone. My 4s never did this until the 5.1.1 update. Any suggestions.
