[apple-iphone] Do not want apps on iPhone & iPad

 

Hello,

I own an iPhone and an iPad. There are certain apps that I have purchased but want to remove them from those devices. I do not want to delete them as I purchased them and want to someday be able to load them on the devices again. How can I stop having them update and then sync to these devices?

Yes, I have deleted apps from these devices, but those were apps I never want to use again--such as 2012 Wimbledon and the 2012 Olympics apps.
