1) Change the ringtone to another one and confirm the change. If this works
then change to the ringtone you want.
2) Have set a specific caller with a specific ringtone? Confirm it.
3) if one doesn't work then confirm the ringtone music is fine in iTunes.
Now uncheck ringtones and sync. Now check ringtones and sync. Now check if
you get your ringtones.

I made a Custom ring tone from an MP3 recording using Mobil 17 and Wave
Pad (to edit the file).
The new Ringtone file appears in iTunes and on my iPhone: >setings
>sounds >ringtones.
Instead of being listed alphabetically with the native ringtones, it is
at the top of the list separated from the regular iPhone list by a light
gray line.
It is checked in Ringtones to be the default ring tone. It is the only
ringtone that is checked.
When the phone rings, the ringtone I hear is Bell Tower even thoughy it
is not checked AND my custoim ring tone is.
I've tried re-booting the iPhone. NADA.,
Any suggestions?
