[apple-iphone] Ring Tone Question

 

iPhone 4S; iMac Intel core i5

I made a Custom ring tone from an MP3 recording using Mobil 17 and Wave
Pad (to edit the file).

The new Ringtone file appears in iTunes and on my iPhone: >setings
>sounds >ringtones.

Instead of being listed alphabetically with the native ringtones, it is
at the top of the list separated from the regular iPhone list by a light
gray line.

It is checked in Ringtones to be the default ring tone. It is the only
ringtone that is checked.

When the phone rings, the ringtone I hear is Bell Tower even thoughy it
is not checked AND my custoim ring tone is.

I've tried re-booting the iPhone. NADA.,

Any suggestions?
