When your phone is connected via cable, click on your phone in the sidebar & the Options will be about half way down the Summary page.

It indicated it was backing it up, but the date information indicates "last backed up to iCloud unknown.' I looked at my iCloud account, where I have "find my phone" set up, but I can't see any backup. I also backed up to the ocmputer, and found it, but I don't know how to transfer that data to the computer so that it syncs the information I want to keep with the iPhone.
