[apple-iphone] tranferring data from iphone to new computer

 

I recently retired from work, and want to start syncing my iPhone 4s to my home computer. The home computer already has iTunes, Outlook etc. I don't care so much about the music, since I had more music on iTunes on my home computer than my work, but I do want to keep the contacts, calendar etc. on the iPhone.

I have searched the web, and I can't find much help. Do I really need to pay $34 to purchase a program to save my iPhone information?
