I had some building pains but mine was probably mostly computer/iTunes combination. I got a new Win8 laptop about four or five days before the iTunes 11 upgrade came out and was trying to mesh it all together at once. Tne biggest issue I was running into was getting everything to copy from an external drive to the laptop drive. Even though I was copying the main music folder and all subfolders a lot seemed to be left behind. So my rebuild was happening in multiple spurts as I'd copy stragglers.
Overall I've liked this version. I'm glad to be able to watch my video podcasts on the computer again instead of being forced to do so only on my iPhone5 like I had to do after updating my old Win7 to iTunes 10.7.
