[apple-iphone] how to Sync?

 

I am a new user of iPhone. I have a MacBookPro with Snow Leopard. I don't
know how to sync my computer calendar to my iPhone 5.

I presently do not have iCloud match; however, my phone does have calendar
info from my computer, just not recent changes, so at one point they were
synced.

I have tried opening both the computer and phone calendars while the iPhone
was connected to the laptop. I opened iTunes on both. What do I need to
do to sync my calendars?
