My wife bought an iPhone 8 last week because her 7 was kaput. 4 days later and she dropped it while walking the dog. Screen shattered. She was using the same case that was around her 7.
Went back to the store but they were booked that night. AppleCare via phone gave conflicting info, not as favorable. We will try the store again.

Today I went to Scottsdale Fashion Mall to the Flagship Apple Store. What a nice store. The service was really, really good. I bought an Apple iPhone 11 in purple. So far I really like it. I upgraded from an iPhone 8 Plus. Smaller form factor fonts in my hand better. Screen is the same size as my iPhone 8 Plus was but the screen is a bit bigger.
