Hmm, I am thinking you may be confusing the Facebook Messenger app with the Messages app that comes already installed on All Apple devices. I say this, because from my knowledge to receive iMessages the Messages app from Apple has to be used. How were you receiving what you describe as iMessages before accepting to get the app? By e-mail? Another messaging app?

Message is built into iOS. I searched the app store and found nothing called iMessage. I have not idea what you have. What phone do you have? Which version of iOS are you running? On Mon, Aug 21, 2017 at 6:21 PM, digngen@yahoo.com [apple-iphone] <apple-iphone@yahoogroups.com> wrote:I have been able to view iMessages just fine without an app.
Some how I accidently accepted the iMessage app. Now unless I open that app I cannot see my iMessages.
I liked the way it was before. My question is
Once I download & open the iMessage app can I just as easily delete it and return to viewing the imessages as I did before???
Thank-you, Peggy

Have you tried the highest rated email app?
With 4.5 stars in iTunes, the Yahoo Mail app is the highest rated email app on the market. What are you waiting for? Now you can access all your inboxes (Gmail, Outlook, AOL and more) in one place. Never delete an email again with 1000GB of free cloud storage.
