Yes, it would block the number that was calling at the time. Most telemarketing companies use a "round robin" type of system that has several numbers in it, from my experience That means a computer users am automated calling program with a bunch of calling from numbers in it and whatever number is free at the time a call is being made, that's the number used. I'm was a telemarketer 6-7 years ago and the"round robin" system was used at the site I worked at. I get calls from the same telemarketing company that I've been blocking. The calls are getting less and less frequent since I started blocking each number that calls in.

Every single day a couple of minutes before or after noon I receive a robo call from a place called Telefund. They never leave a message, but the App I use, Youmail, picks up on the call and notifies me. This App handles my calls and has a feature to Block calls, which I have used and yet the calls keep coming. I've also reported the number to the No Call Registry.
My question is, if I add their number to my "contacts" then block that number on my iPhone, would that stop the calls or cause more problems?
Any suggestions would be most appreciated.
