Re: [apple-iphone] Manually updating apps on iPhone 6+

I've just started using Yosemite from 10.6.8. I update apps manually. I cannot find the button to do this in the new iTunes app.

You do it in the App Store app. Click updates and it will tell you which updates are available. You can then update individual apps or Update All. You can set prefs for App Store in System Preferences.

Otto refers to updating Apps *for the Mac*.

Since you specifically mention iTunes, I presume you are looking for the way to update iOS Apps.

In iTunes, select Apps (as opposed to music, podcasts, movies, TV, etc. — the easiest way is Command-7.

Having done that, the bar across the top should now show a choice of "My Apps — My iPhone Apps — My iPad Apps — Updates — App Store"

Click on Updates, then on the button in the lower right corner.
