I had just changed my beloved 3GS to iP5 as my Christmas gift to myself! It was actually upgraded to iOS 6.1 and it worked fine! it is just lately I have noticed that it took too long to boot up! Some of my apps particularly my favorite games doesn't work anymore that made me feel disappointed!
As for my experience with iP5, there was no so much changes for the environment, except for the physical size, and the feeling of having new gadgets! One thing more, it is a little bit lighter than 3GS and the crisp when your typing! The audio is not so loud compare to 3GS! The camera and the video are much better! And most of all its faster than my old phone!
Though there was some added features like the panorama for taking pictures and the facetime option when calling, there is an important option under the phone settingS which is the SIM CARD APPLICATION wherein you could ask and find some important details and other transactions from your network carrier!
Here in Philippines, there are some banks tied up with some of the network carrier of which you could retrieved your recent transactions, your deposit and credit balances! The stuffs that the network offering and more, of which that feature couldn't be found in iphone 5 :-(
Hope this could give you an idea Kelly! Have a joyous Christmas!
Cheers!
Erlie

Subject: [apple-iphone] Question on 4S vs 5
I am planning on finally upgrading my iPhone 3GS and wondered if there is any reason I would want to buy the 4S vs the 5. Since they're selling 4, 4S & 5, I wondered why and figured that if anyone would know, you here would! Thanks so much.
