I don't know about the setting Dick, but when I read my email on my iPad, then open mail on my phone, it syncs and matches what my iPad shows. Meaning - on my iPad say I got 100 email messages. I either read them all and/or deleted them. Go to my phone, open up email, and it updates (syncs) so that I don't have to go through them all again. I set my email accounts up using iMap instead of POP.

I think it allowed something like 25, 50, 100 and 200. Now I can't find the setting in either iOS 8.4.1 or 9.0. Does anyone know if this setting still exists? My iPhone 5s currently displays over 1,000 mails, because I read Mail mostly on my iPad and only occasionally clear out the iPhone.Dick JohnsonSent from my iPad 432 GB, iOS 8.4.1------------------------------------------------Richard E Johnson, ScM, MD, DABA
