On the page where you enter the passcode there is a password options in blue which will allow a 4 digit option.

Apple now requires a 6 number passcode. Bring back the four. My passcode was not an easy to remember set of numbers, but a meaningful to me pattern on the keyboard. Six destroys my pattern. Sent from my iPad John Ferman Minneapolis, MN
