As I understand it, Weather Underground uses a lot of private weather reporting, where as Accuweather uses input from commercial weather stations, like airports.
You need to check out your local info from any source to see what is accurate for your area, and what other features you are looking for. I used to work on wind farm installations, and so I was looking for lighting within 50 miles and changes in wind speed. Private weather stations, don't report on lighting, and generally don't predict wind speeds throughout the day.
Weather Underground might be good for outdoor projects and some construction, but for the type of work I have done, I need to know at what hour of the day I can expect rain, wind or lightening.
Living in Oregon, I can tell you, that almost every day and hour there is a prediction of rain, but when and to what percentage probability are important, because less than a 40% chance of 0.02" of rain means, it won't rain.
