As long as you have Send and Receive set to only your cell number you should be fine.

I just updated yesterday.
I sent one text and received one text back. When I tried to respond with another text I got this message:
cannot send iMessage needs to be enabled.
This is the first time I have seen this.
A while back (months-year) I disabled iMessage because it was also sending my messages to another member of the family.
Is there away to enable iMessage with out it sharing all my texts (sent or received) with other family members who have iPads or iPhones ?
