[apple-iphone] Siri semantics

 

Three problems that drive me bonkers.

1. I cannot say "send a text message to Joe Smith," I have to invert my instinctual proper grammar and say "send Joe Smith a text message." Previous OS did not do this.

2. If I say "give me directions to the nearest McDonald's" I will get a list of street addresses but no cities. If I am traveling, Street addresses without towns are almost useless.

2 a. Is there a way to get a map overview and DISTANCE (miles) without Siri launching into turn-by-turn verbal directions?

3. Speaking of cities, is there a way to teach Siri how to interpret when I speak "New Lenox"? some of the interpretations include NEW X or simply X.
