Got my daughter a pre owned iPhone 4 and as I am getting her landline/broadband connected (Naked Broadband actually) with the telco I work for, I will be having a sim sent out as its part of the deal.
Can I install iTunes on her laptop, add her new AppleID and setup the iPhone as a new phone without the sim as that will be a few days before its sorted? While the phone wont work as a phone, will it setup and sync ok in that state?
