Yeah, I'm not really loving the new look, but doesn't matter much to me.
The visibility problem is another matter. I'm one of the visually impaired
people who are having serious issues, particularly with the Notes app and
the calendar. I went into the accessibility menu and turned the fonts up as
high as possible and selected bold text and it's still just barely readable
for me. On IOS6 I was able to choose my own font in Notes and had no
problem, and the black against the yellow background was very readable. In
IOS7 they've taken away your ability to change fonts, and the thin font
against the white background is *horrible* if you're visually impaired. And
in the calendar app the font isn't even black, it's gray. It's just
terrible.
I don't care one way or the other about the other changes. I like being
able to put more apps in a folder. The "card" system of multitasking is a
bit of a learning curve but makes sense. So if you're not visually
impaired, IOS7 is probably great. Unfortunately, it's not so great if you
are visually impaired. I'm praying that Apple will see how many people are
having these problems and come to the conclusion that we're not just
whiners, that there's a *problem* that needs a fix.
