I have always gotten the smallest memory iPhone (3G, 4, 4s, 5) mainly because of cost. I'm always changing out music playlists so that hasn't been an issue for me storagewise. But I'm now finding that apps are taking a huge bite out of my memory (presently nearly 10.5G on my 16G iPhone 5). I should do a better job of dumping some of the crap I never use but don't. And the ever-growing number of apps is what likely will push me to get a larger capacity on my next upgrade.

Neither will you after playing w the phone for awhile. Either take the free phone, or buy an iPhone on your own and max the storage. I saw an article today that said if you view videos on a phone, you are using an iPhone. I take it that viewing videos on anything else except your computer is difficult.
