[apple-iphone] Re: iPhone photo folders

I use iPhoto to import and delete cameraroll pictures from my iPhone. I try to keep camera roll clear by importing into iPhoto on my iMac as soon as possible. I then SYNC the iPhone to iTunes and choose which photos to keep on the phone and which to only store in iPhoto on the iMac. When iPhoto opens up, and sees your iPhone connected to the iMac, it asks me: "What do you want to import(to iPhoto on your iMac)?"

You can choose which photos to import. After importing, iPhoto will call the newly imported photos an EVENT. An Event is iPhotos way to organize photos into groups. Name the group whatever you choose.

NEVER EVER open an iPhoto photo in an editing program, EDIT it, and SAVE.
iPhoto is a database. if you create and new version SAVE AS to the desktop, then re-import the new version. If you don't your new image will hide within iPhoto. You will not see the new version either. You will see the new version if you IMPORT it only.
