I'm actually powering it down (press volume-up and side buttons, and then "slide to power off"). Up until the upgrade all I had to do is tap the side button to a turn it back on. Now I have to hold it down until I see the apple. I preformed the hard reboot you suggested but nothing changed. Normally I wouldn't have been concerned but it changed right after the upgrade and at first I thought my phone was broken. If this is normal then I guess I should consider myself lucky it was so easy the past year and live with how it is now. Bobbie
