Alice, you didn't knock on wood before posting! I read your post and lost incoming ringer on my iPhone 8 for 24+/- hours. Text's also were quiet.  All I would get were missed call notice or text red notices on screen.Mysteriously all's well now. I had checked volume and mute switch but no change. My wife was on the road yesterday so any problems she would of had to wait until I checked my phone. I'll keep my fingers crossed. I dread having to drive 30 miles to AT&T and then have to drive another 40+/- to Apple.
