Re: [apple-iphone] Question about open vpn

Everyone's usage pattern is different.
For example, the great majority of my own connectivity for my iOS devices is either a secure Wifi (at home), or cellular, and I therefore rarely use VPN with those connections.

If I want to use, say, McDonalds' Wifi (insecure), the first thing I do when I sit down is turn on Wifi, then turn on VPN, and wait for it to "latch on" before doing anything else.

Do you regularly use no-password public Wifi? Is your home Wifi secure (WPA2 encryption)? Or do you need other aspects of what VPN is?
