First, thank you so much for answering.

 

I didn't explain it very well.

 

I can do everything that you described very nicely but I can't get it to take me immediately to the day view of the future date selected.

 

I think I should be able to get directly to the day view of that date by tapping the date from the year view.  This is something I've been able to do for so many years on so many platforms.

 

Could you take me a little farther?
