Margaret, when viewing a single day in the calendar app, in the upper left corner, you should see the name of the month, with a arrow head to the left. Tap on that, and it will take you to the month view. When in the month view, you will then see the year in that same corner. Tap on it, and you will see the year calendar.

What am I missing? Someone please tell me how to jump to a particular date in the future. It seems to me that you should be able to go to the month or year view and tap on the date you want. Or is there a "go to" function that I've missed?
It works fine on my iPhone 5S.
This should be so simple. I can't be the only one who wants to do this.
