The only time I have noticed that has been when I made a change to my service, and the personal hotspot disappeared from my phone. A call to AT&T customer service took care of the issue.

There are occasions when this doesn't appear at all. One has to search for it and then it appears but the toggle switch refuses to come on. Can any one throw any light on why this happens. Thanks.
