Thanks.  I opened the health ap but surprisingly it shows only how many metres I swam and not the stroke and calories burned and speed which were displayed on the watch upon the end of the workout.  Perhaps there's another ap.

You are taking "live" photos.  Up at the top, right in the center, is an icon that looks like a target with a bulls eye . it will have a yellow color when it is active.  Just touch it to toggle it off.  It will be white when off.

The .mov file is a very short video clip used to create the "live photo" effect (or whatever they really call it)
