Try testing it out, make a phone call then put your finger over the sensor, see if the screen blanks.

The sensor is just above the speaker (that's above the screen). Have you recently put a screen protector on your phone? The screen protector I have has a cut out so the proximity sensor isn't blocked.

It may just be bad because there is no screen protector on it.

Re: [apple-iphone] Mophie new Snap Air
The only Mophie Air that is in the Apple Store was the same Mophie Air that Best Buy sells and also available on Amazon, even though the Apple Store says it is an Apple exclusive.

It sounds like the proximity sensor is not sensing your head. It is supposed to turn off the screen when you hold the phone up to your head. The sensor is just above the speaker (that's above the screen). Have you recently put a screen protector on your phone? Re: [apple-iphone] Cuba Trip with AT&T iPhone 4S GSM
Internet and Cellular will work on the phone overseas though you would have to call AT&T to see if they have roaming agreements in Cuba. This is a special situation due to the US embargo to the island.
Unless you have an unlocked 4S, you won't be able to swap out SIMS.
Note that while you can get 'reasonable' phone rates - ranging from $0.99 per minute and up. The roaming data rates are extremely high so I would recommend turning data roaming off and using WIFI where available to get internet access.

Will internet work on the phone?
Will cellular work on the phone?
I can swap out SIMS down there?

[apple-iphone] Mophie new Snap Air
There is a new Mophie Snap Air out that is only being sold at the apple store for the iPhone 4 and 4s. I was just wondering if anyone is able to give a review on this item?

[apple-iphone] stop-action movie on iPhone
I seem to recall a thread awhile back wherein someone offered suggestions on shooting video stop-action with an iPhone.
I'd be happy to go back and review those messages but I can't seem to locate when that discussion took place.
Anyone remember that thread?
