That is pretty close to filling the drive. If you don't anticipate adding anymore to your phone in the next 2 years you should be fine. 

That's why Apple makes so much - having a 128 option or starting at 128 would satisfy the majority of users. 256 is overkill for most. I had to go with the 256 because I had 75 gb already being used. 😩

It all depends on how much"stuff" you have on it. How much are you using now? And do you anticipate adding more. Remember the operating system uses some of the space so 64 is not going to be what you have available. If you fill the phone to almost capacity it will slow.  If you use the cloud a lot 64 may be sufficient.
