Hi Rachel - you have to swipe down from the right side to get the control center. You can see the percentage there. A lot of folks are complaining about it. Can't be shown all the time in upper right hand corner. I dislike it and the fact when you use a vpn it isn't displayed at the top - have to look at the control center. It makes it hard to detect that the vpn may have disconnected spontaneously.
