I still have the 6 Plus. Before I bought it, I also felt like it would fall out of my hand. I bought a case from Speck that doesn't add much to the size, but has rough ridges all over it. My phone now feels very secure in my hand. Also, I put the phone in my shirt pocket, and when I bend down, the phone doesn't slip out of my pocketIs there anyone who doesn't find a naked iPhone (any version) too slippery to feel comfortable using it? For me, a grippy but thin case is absolutely essential. I've got a Spigen on my 6s and it adds virtually nothing to the size but adds a lot to the feeling of security.Otto
I have an Apple watch, an iPhone, an iPad, and a Macbook Pro.
Of all of them, it is the iPhone that is most likely to be dropped and damaged – not just because it is slippery (which it is), but because it is handled, taken out, and put away far more than the others.
For just under 9 years now, I have ALWAYS had a case on my iPhone – and not just a thin, light, brittle, "looks good" case, but a protective ove.
Not doing that feels to me like a false economy, saving $30 and increasing the risk to your $1000 device.
Right now, I have Apple's silicone case on my iPhone X.
