I have noticed it was VERY quiet leading up to this. I assumed that it was due to the larger screen sizes, as every time that got raised in the past, it was down with big screens! But some here are keen which is great.
I'm keen for a Plus, 64GB, but I will wait and see how it goes as they won't be in NZ for many many weeks. I will need to hold one as they are very large compared to other phones. I mentioned the other day I played with a Note 3 at work. I can use that size. But the iPhone 6 Plus is I recall about 7mm taller, and a tickle narrower 1 or 2mm I think. Yet the Note is 5.7, but thats ok.
The 6S Plus will be sapphire screen but I don't see any value there, so if there are no "[insert word here] - gate" issues, I am keen. Big screen yes, but a few niceties in iOS8 to go with the Plus. Re the sapphire screen, yes it sounds very cool, but while it is harder, it is more brittle too, I worry about that on a VERY thin and larger phone. Oh, and I need to hear what the real world experience turns out to be with the battery. Looks good though

Are the people on this forum waiting for the 6s? Not getting much input on the thoughts of people on the iPhone 6? How many of you preordered ? 6 or 6+? What colour? I joined this forum when the 4 came out, lot of buzz then, so what's up now?

My hubby is selling to Gazellle. They don't ask about battery.

I have the 5 and have upgraded every 2 years when my contract runs out. I'm really looking forward to a bigger phone like the rumored 5.5. If it's not announced then I'll go for the one that is announced. It'll be 2 yrs for me Oct. 1 and battery life is getting a bit thin on my 5. My hubby's battery life is worse than mine and he says that instead of taking it to Apple for a new battery, he'll get the new iPhone.
I don't see the logic in your husbands thoughts. The new battery should be free and will increase the value of the old phone for trade in or sale. Robert Poland Fort Collins CO
