Re: [apple-iphone] What if I don't install iOS version 7.1?

I agree Jim, I like iOS 7.1. There are a few things that take a little getting used to. There are at least 10 iPhones and 6 iPads in my family and close friends. All are happy with the update. I have not noticed any decrease in battery life. As for the smaller contact picture, I like it. With the old full screen picture everyone in the room could see who was calling. Now they have to lean over your shoulder to see who it is.

Visibility issues are LESS with 7.1 than 7.0.6
Battery drain is the same or less (and for me, inconsequential)
Small contact pictures might be an unhappy choice for some, but it's not a bug

The main thing 7.1 does is patch a widely-publicized, very serious, security hole.

Apple fixes bugs and adds or improves features.
In general, it does not respond to "I don't like this" complaints.
