Agree. Hardware on any platform is good or very good or excellent depending on your price point. To me it's all about the OS. iOS 7 is the latest so it should be better, more featured and less issues ( I ignore new OS issues put it down to teething problems)

You are going to get a lot of opinions both ways. I say go for it on iPhone and iPad. I think iOS 7 the greatest thing that has happened to iDevices. On Fri, Oct 25, 2013 at 2:55 PM, Barbara-Lynn Smith <bl_smith25@hotmail.com> wrote:Hi,
I have an iPad 2 and in iPhone 5. The iPad is running ios5 still (last of the google map native app timeframe) and the iPhone is running the last thing before iOS7 came out.
I'm thinking of leaving the iPad the way it is, but upgrading the iPhone 5 to the latest iOS 7.
For those with the same devices as me, what do you recommend? What's still not working right for the original iPhone 5? Will I regret upgrading?
Any suggestions on what to do with the iPad 2 at this point?
Thanks for any suggestions,
B.L
