RE: [apple-iphone] Re: Any iPhone 3GS & iOS 6 comments

Hmm, not to me. Mine has been stuck on 4.x since it stopped upgrading. I
plugged it in once a week to sync and download updates. It always said my
software was up to date and there were no updates for it. So, since I was
losing app after app each week as they were getting upgraded to the new
ios's and my phone could not, I had to do something. It was also getting
slower and slower and rebooting didn't help. I figured it's just the way it
was and it was time to upgrade. I ordered the 5 when it came out and got it.
I no longer use my 3GS. I haven't found a use for it yet and don't really
want to carry around any more electronic devices.

So, I was surprised to find others were able to upgrade their 3GS's and I
wasn't and thought I'd ask. Maybe I had a dud and didn't know it.

Thanks,

The update is available whenever you connect your iPhone to iTunes. (I'm
not sure if you can also get it direct to the phone.)
