Hmm...maybe I need an explanation as to why zooming in on text on the iPad mini is so bad. It's there so you can do that. Also Settings>General>Accessibility>Large Text will help with some stuff, like iMessage and mail.

I find myself zooming in and changing from vertical to horizontal or vice-versa in an effort to increase the image size. Maybe the inevitable upgrade to a "Retina" resolution model will resolve this. In the meantime I am debating whether to keep both, or return the Mini and wait for the next Mini.
On the plus side it is VERY light and easy to hold with one hand. It would fit into a small bag or large pocket where the iPad could not go.
