Interesting. That is something new.
When I ask it to give me directions, by clicking on the "right turn" icon. I get a window that has the two locations, an icon to reverse their order, icons for car, person & bus, a Route button, and a list of previous routes I have used in the past.
No list of other applications.
The only place I can find a list of apps is if I click on the curled corner of the map and click on the "Data from Tom-Tom" which takes me to an Acknowledgement web page. Right next to that is a grey on grey button to Report a Problem.
Since this is a unique problem, lets verify which iPhone model you have and the iOS you are running. You can currently buy a new 4, 4S and 5 iPhone, which means you might have something other than iOS 6.

The maps on the new iPhone are probably a worn out subject by now. But...I'm running into an issue with mine that I wonder if anyone else had had. That is, when I fine a location and want to plot a route to it from either my current location or another, it automatically flips into a listing of all "routing" aps. I want to see how I get from one place to another and not buy a Garmin or other mapping program for my phone.
Any thoughts?
