You can do a lot of that already:-
Picasa for photos;
Chrome, Firefox, or Safari for browsing (although Safari wasn't very good
on a PC when I tried it a few years ago);
Mail is just another email client, although it's very easy to set up. It's
*not* webmail: by definition, you use that with a browser.
iTunes should be just a matter of copying all the files and authorising the
new computer.
Bear in mind that the MB Pro Retina lacks a CD/DVD drive. You can use an
external one but would that be convenient?
