I have the iPhone Max and Galaxy S10+ and I think the cameras have come a long way. I am in iPhone
groups and Galaxy groups and don't get how some go on and on about the camera and this one is a tiny
bit better than that one and this phone has the best X and all that. The comparison pictures look almost the
same to me. One might be a little crisper while the other is more vibrant, its mostly just personal preference
when you get to the top end phone cameras IMO. FWIW I can manipulate any picture I take to look better
on one than the other, so I don't really go by those comparison pictures and videos as who know what bias
they could have.
I look at the cameras in the phones not as high quality professional devices, more like point and shoot that
chances are you will have on the majority of time.
Also the subject matter counts. What do you take pictures of the most and where do you post? Do I really
need Zeiss Optics and 10x this and 4 lenses and ability to do this and that to take a picture of one of my dogs
eating to post in Facebook? :>. Do I need 4k HDR 120fps Atmos sound to take a 30 second video out at an
event to txt my friends?
I have "arguably" 2 of the top 5 cell phone cameras and never used anything except the auto mode as it is
more than quality enough for most people uses, again IMO.
