I found this potential fix in an Apple discussion group:

"Figured out how to recover your videos.   power off your phone.   Then take out the SIM card.   Turn phone back on.   Then your videos should play.   I'd load them to your computer before putting your SIM card back in.   i just tried it and it worked for me.   Had the same problem."

All of a sudden, video taken via my iPhone 6 Plus (with latest iOS) will not play back, i received an error message "unsupported video format".    Anyone have a suggested fix ?
